Oscar and I decided to take a much needed trip over winter break. The original plan was to go up to Napa Valley for wine tasting but when we made it to Big Sur I fell in love. Described by many as the place where the ocean meets the mountains, or vice versa, whatever, it's truly a beautiful place. I really wanted to stay and do some hiking and hangout, the place has a sort of mythical, deep feel about it. I definitely needed to get out of San Diego for awhile and the get away was perfect. So glad you got a break - you deserve it! Big Sur looks a lot like Sea Ranch - you'll have to come and visit sometime. LOL, Aunt Viki
